Personal Training

60 minute training session done virtually, at the Training Ground gym, or in the convenience of your home. We will focus on your specific needs, use the most optimal movement techniques and progress you appropriately so you become an unstoppable machine. Below is a general outline for what to expect during a regular session.

  • In depth discussion of your history, exercise routine and goals. A movement screen will follow to examine movement quality and current strategies that optimize or limit your abilities

  • Extremely critical for any and all activities. Non-optimal breathing strategies can affect our posture, tighten fascia and overdevelop muscles. This can lead to injury and impact the way we control movement

  • This will be specific to your goals and needs. This is helpful in injury prevention, overcoming an injury and getting your body ready for a good workout

  • Depending on what you're looking for, we will set incremental goals, integrate breathwork with technique and challenge you so you can become limitless

Nutrition Coaching: Transform Your Relationship with Food

30-45 minutes of a virtual session where we’ll discuss what is getting in the way of you achieving your goals. We will also use different tools and techniques that will allow you to break through those habits that no longer serve you. Below is a breakdown of a general nutrition program.

  • After completing a questionnaire and having a conversation, we will take note on what you're doing really well and what are the areas for improvement

  • We will collaborate on a few different habits and you get to decide which one you want to take on. The habits are simple and easy enough so that you can actually be successful

  • Instead of relying on your willpower, let’s make the environment work for you and not against you. Organizing, rearranging and getting rid of certain foods make this process so much easier

  • You may need to learn new skills to be able to handle certain things like cravings, boredom or emotional eating

  • Sometimes it can be a challenge to sustain a healthy lifestyle, so it is critical to practice the habits and skills that have worked for you while allowing yourself to have a bit of fun at the same time
